Dimetrodon - Papo

Dimetrodon was actually not a Dinosaur, despite what you may think it was actually a Mammal like reptile that lived millions of years before the first dinosaurs, the first dinosaurs appeared 230 MYA in the Triassic while Dimetrodon lived in the Permian period 280 MYA.

Paleontological Accuracy: this aspect is almost flawless, almost every thing is accurate, except that the back feet only have 4 toes, when they should have 5, like the front feet, and that Dimetrodon might not have had scales but skin, although that is still debated. There is really nothing really bad in accuracy

As a toy the detail is rivalled only by other Papo products and the pose is Dynamic but not too Dynamic, the paint scheme is colourful but not over the top and is great in almost every aspect, the jaw opens and closes and the detail inside the mouth is stunning, and the figure is extremely durable.
